Ion Chromatography
Ion chromatography is an equivalent liquid chromatography method. It is especially preferred in anion analysis and anion exchange resins are used as the stationary phase and basic solutions are used as the mobile phase. The anions to be analyzed are retained for some time due to their interaction with the stationary phase. The components in the sample reach the conductivity detector at
different times by moving along the column at different speeds, and their amounts are determined according to the output signals.
