High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)

DEFAM

It is a technique based on the separation of substances by making use of the dispersion feature of two or more substances (complex mixtures) at different rates between two immiscible phases. In HPLC, a liquid mobile phase is used to transport the sample components through a column filled with solid material called the stationary phase. Due to the different affinities of the species in the stationary phase, the analysis is completed when they reach the detection sy stem at different retention times and are detected by an appropriate detector. Photodiode-array (DAD) detector is used in the device. This device is used in the analysis of many organic substances such as organic acids, vitamins, pesticides.
